Amethyst Avatar Ideas: 8 Gem Muses to Collect

An amethyst avatar is a purple crystal with a personality — a geode that woke up glowing. AllTheMuse has one true amethyst to collect, a Mythic Muse in The Glow Collection, and she sits at the top of a small gem shelf that runs from a 350-coin diamond down to crystal Muses that cost 50. Meet Amethyst Amy and her gem shelf, and if you are new here, start with what is a Muse avatar?

Amethyst Amy: The Amethyst of The Glow Collection at 200

Amethyst Amy is, in her page's words, “the amethyst of The Glow Collection, a rounded cluster of purple crystal points with violet light shining from deep inside her. Treasure hunters keep looking for the cave she came from; she lets them, because the searching is half their fun.” Her longer portrait calls her “a geode that woke up glowing: a rounded cluster of purple crystal points for a body, violet light shining from deep inside, crystal facets sparkling, and her face set into the smooth front crystal. She hums faintly when the moon is full, which the other crystals insist is singing.”

Amy “believes the most beautiful light is the kind that was inside you all along.” She is a Mythic Muse at 200 Muse Coins, capped at 100 editions, with 0 of 100 claimed when checked today. An unlock is one-time and yours forever, with the full prompt pack, the conversation style and the full-resolution artwork download included on her page.

The Crown Jewel: A Diamond at 350

Every gem shelf needs a top stone, and on AllTheMuse that is Diamond Delia of The Divine Twenty. Her page calls her “The Divine Twenty's diamond: a living cut gemstone with a crystal-point crown” who “does not sparkle — she REFRACTS,” throwing rainbows back from every facet and holding one enormous rose-pink cut gem in both paws. She “believes pressure is just how the sparkle gets in.”

Delia is a Divine Muse at 350 Muse Coins, capped at just 25 editions, with 0 of 25 claimed when checked today — the rarest tier on the site. The Divine Twenty holds 20 Muses, all Divine at 350, and the room has no bundle: each one is collected on her own. She is also the star of the companion diamond avatar ideas post, if the top of the shelf is where you want to live.

An Emerald and a Topaz from the Chroma Rangers

The Chroma Rangers carry their gems as hero colors. Emerald Emi is “the Chroma Rangers' green guardian, patient as a forest and twice as hard to move,” in a sleek emerald-green hero suit with a silver leaf on her chest — she “believes anything worth protecting is worth growing toward, slowly and then all at once.” She is an Epic at 100 Muse Coins, capped at 1,000 editions, with 0 claimed when checked today.

Topaz Talia is “sunshine with a strategy — topaz yellow, triangle-emblemed, and permanently three steps ahead of the problem,” and she “believes every problem has three sides, and she has already checked all of them.” She is a Rare at 75 Muse Coins, capped at 5,000 editions, with 0 claimed when checked today. The full Chroma Rangers room holds 10 Muses totalling 925 singly, with a 250-coin bundle.

• Amethyst Amy — Mythic, 200 coins, cap 100: the amethyst, glowing from inside.
• Diamond Delia — Divine, 350 coins, cap 25: the diamond, the shelf's crown jewel.
• Emerald Emi — Epic, 100 coins, cap 1,000: the emerald, the green guardian.
• Topaz Talia — Rare, 75 coins, cap 5,000: the topaz, sunshine with a strategy.

Three Gems for 75 Coins or Less

The friendly end of the shelf starts with an amethyst you can wear: Crystal Cleo of the Science room is a serene crystal-grower in a deep violet tee with a sparkling amethyst cluster across the chest and a matching crystal cap — “calm, patient, and quietly dazzling,” she “believes everything becomes clear if you give it time to grow.” She is a Common at 50 Muse Coins, in a room of 10 Muses totalling 750 singly with a 250-coin bundle.

Geo Gemma files under Math: she “paints with shapes, turning sidewalks and notebooks into bright geometry gardens,” a Rare at 75 Muse Coins capped at 5,000 editions with 0 claimed when checked today. And Jewel Jules is the keeper of the crown jewels in the Royals room — he “polishes the crown rubies until they gleam, knows every gem in the vault by name,” and wears a huge sparkling ruby brooch of his own. He is a Common at 50 Muse Coins, in a room of 10 totalling 750 singly with a 250-coin bundle.

One More Stone: A Ruby Made of Rainbow

The shelf's ruby is not a stone at all: Rainbow Ruby of Weather Wonders is, in her page's words, “the Weather Wonders' grand finale in Muse form: a whole rainbow banded into one fuzzy body, two little cloud puffs riding on top and sparkle raindrops scattered at her feet. She is what the sky does after it rains, when it is showing off.”

Ruby is a Mythic at 200 Muse Coins, capped at 100 editions, with 0 of 100 claimed when checked today. Weather Wonders holds 10 Muses totalling 925 singly, with a 250-coin bundle — and Ruby's rainbow bands mean she carries every color on this shelf in one Muse, amethyst violet included.

Prices, Bundles and Where to Start

The eight Muses pictured in this post total 1,100 Muse Coins bought one by one: Delia at 350, Amy and Ruby at 200 each, Emi at 100, Talia and Gemma at 75 each, and Cleo and Jules at 50 each. Their home rooms bundle kindly — The Glow Collection's 10 Muses total 2,000 singly against a 500 bundle, while Chroma Rangers, Weather Wonders, Science and Royals each bundle at 250 — but The Divine Twenty has no bundle, so Delia is always a single 350-coin decision.

A new account starts with 150 signup coins. That buys Crystal Cleo and Jewel Jules at 50 each with 50 left over, and the daily reward adds 10 more coins a day toward Amy at 200. Coin packs run from the First Collector pack at 250 coins for $1.99 (first purchase only) and the Starter pack at 500 for $4.99 to the Collector pack at 1,200 for $9.99 and the Vault pack at 3,000 for $19.99, and Muse Club members receive 1,200 coins a month for $7.99. The Free Muses room holds 269 Muses at 0 coins if you want to start collecting tonight at no cost.
