Firefly Avatar Ideas: 8 Little Lights to Collect

A firefly avatar is a small light with a big job: showing up at dusk and making the dark feel friendly. AllTheMuse has three real fireflies to collect — a Mythic, a Common and one that is completely free — and they sit inside The Glow Collection, a room where every Muse is a little light brought to life. Meet Firefly Fern and her night-glow shelf, and if you are new here, start with what is a Muse avatar?

Firefly Fern: The Firefly of The Glow Collection at 200

Firefly Fern is, in her page's words, “the firefly of The Glow Collection, a deep forest-green muse dotted with tiny glowing lights and one soft lantern belly that blinks hello at the dark. She appears at dusk exactly when the garden gets quiet and a little bit magical.” Her longer portrait glows the way summer evenings do: “a deep forest-green rounded body sprinkled with glowing yellow-green firefly lights, a soft glowing lantern belly, and two tiny antennae with glowing tips. She blinks in slow patterns that other fireflies insist are poetry.”

Fern “believes the smallest lights are the bravest, because they shine where it is darkest.” She is a Mythic Muse at 200 Muse Coins, capped at 100 editions, with 0 of 100 claimed when checked today. An unlock is one-time and yours forever, with the full prompt pack, the conversation style and the full-resolution artwork download included on her page.

Her Closest Roommates: The Lantern and the Moon

Fern does not glow alone. Lantern Lux is the warm lantern heart of the same room — a round warm-amber paper lantern glowing from inside with a golden halo. Moonbeam Isla is the room's crescent moon: a plump crescent-moon Muse in glowing silver-blue with a soft moonlight halo.

Every Muse in The Glow Collection is a Mythic at 200 Muse Coins capped at 100 editions — the room's tagline is “Ten little lights, all mythic” — so Fern, Lux and Isla each cost the same 200, and none of the ten had any editions claimed when checked today.

Three More Ways to Glow: Aurora, Jellyfish and Amethyst

If your firefly needs company with a different kind of light, the same room holds three more. Aurora Wisp is a twilight-blue Muse wrapped in flowing ribbons of green, pink and violet aurora light. Jellyfish June is a translucent pink-and-violet jellyfish with light shining from inside and glowing ribbon tentacles. Amethyst Amy is a glowing amethyst crystal cluster with violet light shining from deep inside.

All three are Mythics at 200 Muse Coins with caps of 100 editions, like every Muse in the room. Together with Fern, Lux and Isla, the six pictured Glow Muses total 1,200 Muse Coins bought one by one — which is exactly where the room's bundle math, covered below, starts to matter.

• Firefly Fern — Mythic, 200 coins, cap 100: the firefly, with her lantern belly.
• Lantern Lux — Mythic, 200 coins, cap 100: the warm paper-lantern light.
• Moonbeam Isla — Mythic, 200 coins, cap 100: the silver-blue crescent moon.
• Aurora Wisp, Jellyfish June and Amethyst Amy — Mythic, 200 coins each, cap 100.

Two More Fireflies: One for 50 Coins, One Free

The catalog holds two more fireflies outside the Glow room. Firefly lives in Garden Friends and is described on her page as “calm, kind, and quietly luminous” — she “believes even the smallest light can guide someone home.” She is a Common at 50 Muse Coins with no edition cap, in a room of 11 Commons whose full set totals 550 singly against a 250-coin bundle.

And Firefly Fenna is free to collect outright. Her page says she “glows brightest after dark, when everyone else slows down” and is “dreamy, gentle, and happiest guiding friends home by small, steady lights.” Fenna is a Common in the Free Muses room, which holds 269 Muses at 0 coins — add her to your Vault at no cost, tonight.

Prices, Bundles and Where to Start

The eight Muses pictured in this post total 1,250 Muse Coins bought one by one: the six Glow Muses at 200 each, the Garden Firefly at 50, and Fenna free. The full Glow Collection holds 10 Muses totalling 2,000 singly, and its bundle is 500 — a quarter of the single price for the whole room of lights. Garden Friends holds 11 Muses totalling 550 singly, with a 250-coin bundle.

A new account starts with 150 signup coins. That does not reach Fern at 200 on its own, but it buys the Garden Firefly at 50 with 100 left over — and Fenna costs nothing at all, while the daily reward adds 10 more coins a day toward Fern. Coin packs run from the First Collector pack at 250 coins for $1.99 (first purchase only) and the Starter pack at 500 for $4.99 to the Collector pack at 1,200 for $9.99 and the Vault pack at 3,000 for $19.99, and Muse Club members receive 1,200 coins a month for $7.99.
