Rocket Avatar Ideas: Rocket Rex and the Science Crew

If you are hunting for rocket avatar ideas, start with the one Muse who counts down to everything. Rocket Rex is a Common Muse in Science, AllTheMuse's ten-Muse lab crew — a black tee with a big red-and-white rocket blasting off the chest and a silver rocket cap. He costs 50 Muse Coins and carries no edition cap. This guide walks Rex's whole lab, from the Mythic alchemist down to the Common bench, meets the three other rocket Muses hiding in other rooms, and ends with the bundle math. New to Muses? Read what is a Muse avatar? first.

Meet Rocket Rex, the Countdown King

His own page describes him exactly: “A launch-day enthusiast in a black tee with a big red-and-white rocket blasting off the chest and a silver rocket cap — every plan, trip, and plain old Tuesday gets its own dramatic countdown.” His own lines say it plainer: “I count down to everything — toast, taxis, Tuesdays, all missions,” and “Every departure is a mission to the stars if you announce it properly.”

As a Common, Rex costs 50 Muse Coins, carries no edition cap, and has 0 editions claimed so far — he can be collected at any time, by anyone with the coins. Every lab needs one member whose whole job is launch-day energy, and in this lab that job is a person: not the department head, not the theorist, but the quiet Common in the silver rocket cap who treats toast like a liftoff.

The Flagships: Beaker Bella and Dr. Atom

Beaker Bella is the lab's Mythic at 200 coins, capped at 100 editions, with 0 claimed. Her page calls her a bubbly little experimenter in a teal tee with a big fizzing flask and a bubble-print bucket hat, for whom every moment is a delightful experiment waiting to pop — snacks, chores and Tuesdays all become fizzing little experiments under her watch, and she loves a beautiful mess most of all.

Dr. Atom is the Legendary at 150 coins, capped at 250 editions, also with 0 claimed: a wonder-struck little scientist in a deep-blue tee with a huge glowing atom across the chest and a matching atom cap, to whom every ordinary moment hits like the discovery of the century. His own line says it: “Galaxies? Breakfast cereal? I narrate every discovery like it's the first ever.” Together the two flagships cost 350 coins as singles — already 100 more than the bundle that contains the whole lab.

The Bench, Part One: Bruno, Cleo, Dee and Sue

Brainy Bruno is the bright little idea machine in a navy tee with a huge glowing lightbulb across the chest and a backwards bulb cap — a brand-new bright thought strikes him about once a minute, and he lives for the exact moment a puzzle clicks into place. Crystal Cleo, in a deep violet tee with a sparkling amethyst cluster and a matching crystal cap, is the lab's serene crystal-grower: she grows beautiful things slowly, and believes everything becomes clear if you give it time to grow.

Dna Dee is the code-reader in a violet tee with a big colorful DNA double-helix and a matching violet beanie, who reads life itself like it is written in tiny spirals — her own line: “Everything alive is written in tiny spirals, and I read them all.” Solar Sue, pure sunshine in a golden-yellow tee with a big smiling sun and its orbiting planets, finished with a wide orange sun hat, is convinced that everything, absolutely everything, revolves around joy. All four are Commons at 50 coins with no edition caps, like Rex — the working bench of this lab is priced entirely at the Common tier.

The Bench, Part Two: Prism, Dino Dana and Volcano Vera

Prism is the gentle light-bender in a deep indigo tee with a crystal prism splitting one beam of white light into a bright rainbow across the chest and a matching indigo cap, who believes every white beam is hiding a rainbow — and every problem is hiding a spectrum. Dino Dana, the wide-eyed fossil hunter in a green tee with a big ammonite fossil across the chest and a khaki explorer hat, treats every pebble on the path as a possible million-year-old secret, and crouches down to check.

Volcano Vera rounds out the ten: a bubbly giggler in a red-orange tee with a big volcano erupting across the chest and an ash-gray cap, always exactly one joke away from erupting with laughter — she cannot hold a giggle in, and honestly, she does not try. The full pattern: one Mythic, one Legendary, and eight Commons at 50 coins each — Rex among them — for a singles total of 750 coins.

Three More Rockets: Rocco, Rue and Rocket

Rex is not the catalog's only rocket. Rocket Rocco is the retro rocket of Toy Box Classics — a Common at 50 coins, a cheerful little astronaut-toy in a midnight-blue tee with a retro rocket print and a matching navy cap, a tin rocket at heart: everything in his day gets a proper countdown before liftoff, and his rule is “Three, two, one — that is how I start absolutely everything.” Rocket Rue is the crown jewel of On the Move, a Mythic at 200 coins capped at 100 editions with 0 claimed — she does not ride the rocket, she IS the rocket: a silvery-cream plush fuselage body, a glossy red nose-cone cap, two red fins at her base and a round porthole right on her belly, with a small soft flame puff underneath keeping her permanently ready for launch. Her own line: “Every countdown is just a drumroll for a beginning.”

And in Space Crew there is a Muse named simply Rocket — a Common at 50 coins described on his page as a cheerful little rocket with a full tank and bigger dreams, always counting down to something wonderful; his own line is “Every big journey starts with one small countdown.” That makes four rocket-named Muses across the whole catalog: three Commons at 50 and one Mythic at 200. Their home rooms bundle at 250 coins each — Toy Box Classics (750 singly), On the Move (925 singly) and the all-Common Space Crew (500 singly).

How to Start: Rex First, Then the Bundle Math

A new account starts with 150 Muse Coins at signup, and that grant spends exactly on the lab bench: Rocket Rex plus any two fellow Commons — Bruno and Prism, say — totals 150 coins, with nothing left over and nothing owed. From there, the daily reward adds 10 coins a day, so a collector who banks the grant instead reaches the full-lab bundle in ten days of claims without buying a coin.

The bundle math: bought one by one, all ten Science Muses total 750 coins (200 + 150 + eight Commons at 50). The Science bundle unlocks the same ten for 250 coins — a saving of 500, working out to 25 coins per Muse inside the bundle against a 75-coin average single. The two flagships alone cost 350 as singles, 100 more than the whole lab bundled, so collectors who know they want Bella and Atom should take the bundle and let Rex and the bench come with it. The room's full story is walked in the Science collection guide, and the gallery holds 269 Free Muses at 0 coins — free to collect, though honestly, none of them is a rocket: all four rocket Muses are coin-priced, and Rex is the cheapest way in at 50.
