Crab Avatar Ideas: 2 Crabs and 5 Seaside Kin

Looking for crab avatar ideas that are finished characters, not a maker tool? AllTheMuse has two crab Muses, verified in the live catalog today: Crab of Ocean Crew, a Common at 50 Muse Coins with no edition cap, and Crab Cleo of Deep Sea Cuddles, a Rare at 75 coins. One walks sideways through the shallows; the other treats every sideways step as a dance move. This list walks both crabs, then builds their shelf with five seaside kin. New to the idea? Start with what is a Muse avatar?

The Sideways Optimist: Crab at 50 Coins

His own page calls Crab “a sideways-walking optimist with claws for high-fives and a shell full of beach-day energy.” That is the whole idea in one line: the character who never approaches a problem head-on, and gets there anyway — claws up, ready to celebrate whoever arrives with him.

Crab is a Common at 50 Muse Coins with no edition cap, so he never sells out. His room is Ocean Crew — tagline, “Deep breaths, deeper friends.” — 10 Muses at 750 coins bought one by one, or 250 for the bundle, walked in full in the Ocean Crew guide. A new account starts with 150 Muse Coins at signup, so Crab can be a first unlock on day one with 100 coins still in hand.

The One-Crab Celebration: Crab Cleo at 75 Coins

The second crab lives one room over, in full-body cuddle form. Crab Cleo of Deep Sea Cuddles is “Deep Sea Cuddles' happiest percussionist: a coral-red crab of a Muse with a smooth peachy belly and two big rounded claws she mostly uses for applause.” Her longer look is “a coral-red shell body with a smooth peachy belly, two big rounded claw arms at her sides, and six tiny stubby legs along her base keeping perfect time. She enters every tide pool like it owes her a drum solo, and it pays up.”

Cleo is a Rare at 75 Muse Coins, capped at 5,000 editions with every edition still unclaimed when checked today — and, as her page puts it, “she believes every sideways step is a dance move if you commit.” Put the two crabs together and they cost 125 coins, so a new account's 150 signup coins bring home both crabs on day one with 25 to spare. Her room, Deep Sea Cuddles — tagline, “The Muse IS the sea creature.” — holds 10 Muses at 925 coins bought one by one, or 250 for the bundle.

The Ocean Flagships: Octopus and Shark

Two capped flagships watch over Crab's room. Octopus is “the eight-armed multitasker of the muse world — gentle, curious, and always juggling something wonderful.” Where Crab high-fives with two claws, Octopus can high-five the whole tide pool at once. Octopus is a Mythic at 200 Muse Coins, capped at just 100 editions with every edition still unclaimed when checked today — the rarest Muse on this list.

Shark is “the apex cuddle-predator of the reef — all confidence, zero bite, here to circle your worries away.” Shark is a Legendary at 150 Muse Coins, capped at 250 editions with every edition still unclaimed when checked today. Crab scuttles sideways under both of them: the multitasker above, the confidence circling, and the optimist arriving from an angle nobody else considered.

The Slow Shallows: Sea Turtle and Starfish

Two Commons give Crab's shelf its calm. Sea Turtle is “the slow-and-steady sage of the sea — proof that the best pace is your own pace.” Crab hurries sideways; Sea Turtle does not hurry at all, and both of them arrive exactly when they mean to.

Starfish is “a slow-living tide-pool philosopher — unbothered, regenerative, and proof that shining never requires moving fast.” Sea Turtle and Starfish are each a Common at 50 Muse Coins with no edition cap. Their roommate Seahorse has his own list — seahorse avatar ideas — the quiet, upright end of the same crew Crab scuttles through.

The Star Across the Hall: Starfish Stella at 50 Coins

Cleo's room holds a second starfish, and she could not be more different from the philosopher in Crab's room. Starfish Stella is “Deep Sea Cuddles' little sunbeam: a peachy-orange starfish of a Muse, one plump five-pointed star with her smile right at the center of everything.” Her page adds that she is “the tide pool's center of attention, literally — one plump peachy-orange five-pointed star of a Muse with soft spots and her cream face panel at its center, the two side points waving as her arms.”

Stella is a Common at 50 Muse Coins with no edition cap — and, in her page's words, “she believes every point of a star should point at a friend.” Two starfish, two philosophies: the Ocean Crew's unbothered thinker, shining without moving fast, and Cleo's roommate, a sunbeam who waves two of her five points at everyone who passes.

Singles or the Bundle: How the Crab Math Works

The seven Muses pictured here cost 625 coins bought one by one: Crab 50, Crab Cleo 75, Sea Turtle 50, Starfish 50, Starfish Stella 50, Shark 150 and Octopus 200. Start smaller and the signup coins do the headline work: 150 covers both crabs — Crab and Cleo together are 125 — or Crab with any two Commons on this list, such as the classic shallows trio of Crab, Sea Turtle and Starfish at exactly 150.

If a whole room is the point, its bundle changes the math: Ocean Crew brings home Crab and all nine roommates — Octopus the Mythic at 200, Shark the Legendary at 150, and eight Commons at 50 each — for 250 coins against 750 bought one by one. Deep Sea Cuddles does the same for Cleo's room at 250 against 925 singly, and bundle finish prices pro-rate if you already own part of a room. Still choosing?
