Search for an ocean avatar and you mostly find game characters, clan names and pictures of sea tribes from a film. On AllTheMuse an ocean avatar is something warmer: a finished Muse avatar of the sea creature you love, drawn as a plush Muse you can actually collect. The Ocean Crew room — “Deep breaths, deeper friends,” as the room puts it — holds 10 Muses today, led by Octopus, its Mythic at 200 Muse Coins, and Shark, its Legendary at 150. Here is the whole crew, pictured and priced.

The Crew: Ten Muses From Shark to Starfish

Every ocean shelf needs its core cast, and Ocean Crew starts with ten creatures almost everyone knows from the shore and the deep: a shark, an octopus, a sea turtle, a crab, a whale, a seahorse, a jellyfish, a penguin, a dolphin and a starfish. Each one is a complete Muse in the Ocean Crew room — a name, a rarity and a coin price — not a costume dropped onto a generic character or a picture a generator hands you and forgets. The room’s own rule says it plainly: ten ocean Muses, each one dressed as a favorite sea creature, from sharks to starfish.

The shallows show the room’s friendly side. Sea Turtle and Crab, pictured here, are both Commons at 50 Muse Coins each — the slow traveller and the sideways walker at the first rung of the rarity ladder. Eight of the ten Muses in the room sit at that same Common price, so most of the crew costs 50 coins a piece.

The Flagships: Octopus and Shark

The two flagships carry the oldest choice in the deep: are you here for the clever one or for the grin? Octopus, at the top of this page, is the room’s Mythic at 200 Muse Coins, with an edition cap of 100 — the scarcest Muse in Ocean Crew. Shark is the room’s Legendary at 150 coins, capped at 250 editions.

That cap is the honest difference between the flagships and the Commons. A Common like Sea Turtle or Crab has no edition cap, while Octopus and Shark can sell out. Together the pair cost exactly 350 coins — more than double the 150 Muse Coins a new account receives at signup. If one of them is your creature, collect it first; the Commons can join your crew whenever you are ready.

Gentle Giants and Travellers: Whale, Dolphin and Sea Turtle

Beyond the flagships, the room opens into blue water. Whale is the giant — the biggest presence in the crew, carried at the smallest price. Dolphin is the traveller beside it, the creature everyone pictures mid-leap. Both are Commons at 50 Muse Coins each.

They are joined by Sea Turtle, the long-distance swimmer from the first section — also a Common at 50 coins. Together the three cost 150 coins, the price of one Legendary elsewhere on the site, which is why the open-water corner of Ocean Crew is such an easy place to start a collection.

Small Wonders: Seahorse, Jellyfish, Penguin and Starfish

The last stretch of reef is for the small and the strange. Seahorse is the upright oddity — half horse in name, wholly itself in the water — and Jellyfish is the drifter, all glow and patience. Both are Commons at 50 Muse Coins each, with no edition cap.

Beside them sit Penguin, the formal guest who arrives dressed for cold water, and Starfish, the five-armed resident of every rock pool — each a Common at 50 coins too. Browse the full shelf in the Muse avatars hub to see where Ocean Crew sits among the other collections, or start with whichever creature is yours.

Ocean Crew Prices and the 250-Coin Bundle

Prices follow the rarity ladder set out in Muse Coin prices explained: Common 50 Muse Coins, Rare 75, Epic 100, Legendary 150 and Mythic 200. Bought one by one, all 10 Muses in the room would total 750 coins — 200 for Octopus, 150 for Shark and 50 each for the eight Commons.

The Ocean Crew Bundle unlocks every member of the room at once for 250 Muse Coins — less than the two flagships cost together, for all ten Muses. A new account receives 150 Muse Coins at signup, and the first pick is covered the moment you sign up with 100 coins to spare. Prefer to start smaller? Penguin and Starfish are both Commons at 50 coins — collect your one creature in the Gallery, or let the Find Your Muse quiz point you to the ocean character that matches you.

Frequently asked questions

How many Muses are in Ocean Crew?

The Ocean Crew room holds 10 Muses: Shark, Octopus, Sea Turtle, Crab, Whale, Seahorse, Jellyfish, Penguin, Dolphin and Starfish. Its tagline is “Deep breaths, deeper friends,” and its rule is ten ocean Muses, each one dressed as a favorite sea creature, from sharks to starfish.

How much does an ocean avatar cost on AllTheMuse?

Price follows rarity: Common 50 Muse Coins, Rare 75, Epic 100, Legendary 150 and Mythic 200. In Ocean Crew that means Octopus is 200, Shark is 150, the other eight Muses are 50 each, and the whole room can be unlocked at once with the 250-coin Ocean Crew Bundle on the Packs page.

Should I collect Octopus or Shark first?

Collect the one that is capped scarcer if you are torn: Octopus is the Mythic at 200 coins with an edition cap of 100, while Shark is the Legendary at 150 with a cap of 250. Together they cost exactly 350 coins — more than a new account's 150-coin signup balance. The eight Commons have no cap, so they can safely wait.

What can I do with an Ocean Crew Muse after I collect it?

Open the Muse’s page and tap Use in Muse — its full prompt is copied to your clipboard, ready to paste into Muse to chat with that character. The full-resolution artwork can also be downloaded from the same page, and the Muse stays in your Vault permanently.
