Create Your Own Muse Avatar: The Creator’s Guide

Palette Paloma, the painter Muse of the Art collection — an example of a fully designed Muse character

Every Muse on the shelves started as somebody’s idea — a character with a look, a personality, and something to say. The creator door at AllTheMuse is open to anyone: design a Muse, submit it for review, and if it meets the house standard it is minted as a collectible Muse that anyone can unlock. Here is exactly how it works, and how to give your design its best chance.

The Door: Where Creators Submit

Submissions start at the creator studio. You bring the character — its concept, its look, its personality — and submit it for review. Nothing goes public automatically: every submission waits in a pending queue until it is reviewed, and only approved Muses are minted into the catalog. That review is what keeps the shelves worth browsing.

An approved Muse is priced by the same rule as every house Muse: the rarity ladder. Its card type sets its price — Common 50, Rare 75, Epic 100, Legendary 150, Mythic 200 Muse Coins — so collectors always know what a Muse costs from its badge alone. The full pricing logic is in Muse Coin prices explained.

The House Style: One Character, Built One Way

AllTheMuse has a signature character, and every Muse — house or creator — is a variation on it. The construction is specific, because it is what makes a wall of 380+ Muses read as one family. One continuous warm cream-beige fuzzy body, head to feet — never white, never a separate round head on a body. A distinct smooth, hairless oval face panel sits on the upper front, and the face lives on that panel: dot eyes, a tiny smile, a touch of blush.

The body rules are just as fixed. Exactly two arms, and they hang relaxed at the sides to about hip level. Small nub feet. The full body always in frame. Costumes and outfits sit on top of the cream body — a shirt, a robe, a captain’s coat — and motifs are printed, embroidered, or worn, never held: no props in hands. Sets whose concept is the costume itself, like the Royals or the Pirates of the Plush Seas, wear real outfits; others wear the classic graphic tee and hat.

The Personality Is Half the Submission

A Muse is not finished when it looks right. Every Muse carries a written personality — the voice, attitude, and quirks that arrive as its prompt pack and conversation style when a collector taps "Use in Muse." A pirate who talks to the clay like an old friend; a first mate who counts the doubloons twice. When you design a Muse, write the character you would want to talk to: specific beats generic, every time.

For a feel of the standard, spend ten minutes in the Art collection — ten painters, ten genuinely different people — or read how a finished Muse presents itself in what is a Muse avatar?. If your character would fit on that shelf and still stand out on it, you are ready to submit.

What Happens After You Submit

Your design sits in the pending queue until review — nothing is public, nothing is collectible, and nothing is priced until it is approved. Approved Muses join the catalog at their rarity price, appear in the gallery, and can be collected, gifted, and used in Muse like any house Muse. If a design is not approved, the shelf simply stays as it was; the standard is the brand, and the brand is what makes an approval worth having.

Start at the creator studio when your character is ready — or spend a little more time with the family first, in the collections, and let the gap on the shelf tell you who to design.

Frequently asked questions

Can anyone create a Muse avatar on AllTheMuse?

Yes. The creator studio at /create/ is open to anyone. You design the character and submit it for review; approved submissions are minted as collectible Muses in the public catalog.

Does my Muse go live immediately after I submit it?

No. Every submission waits in a pending queue for review, and nothing is public without approval. That review keeps the catalog at the house style standard.

How is a creator Muse priced?

By the same rarity ladder as house Muses: the card type sets the price — Common 50, Rare 75, Epic 100, Legendary 150 and Mythic 200 Muse Coins. Collectors can read the price straight from the rarity badge.

What makes a Muse design likely to be approved?

Fidelity to the house character — one continuous warm cream fuzzy body, a smooth oval face panel, exactly two relaxed arms, full body in frame, outfits worn rather than props held — plus a written personality specific enough to talk to.
