Muse Coin Prices Explained: Every Card Type Has Its Price

The Cowboy Muse avatar from the Wild West collection

Every premium Muse on AllTheMuse has a price in Muse Coins, and that price is never a mystery: it is set by the card type — every Muse of the same rarity costs exactly the same. Here is how the rarity ladder works, what an unlock actually includes, how bundles work, and how to earn coins.

One Price per Card Type

Pricing on AllTheMuse follows one rule — the card type sets the price. Every Muse has a rarity (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic), and every Muse of that rarity has the same fixed unlock price in Muse Coins, whatever collection it belongs to. A Common costs 50 whether it lives in the Wild West, the Pet Parade, or the NFL Top 10 — a Common never costs 200, and a Mythic is 200 everywhere it appears.

That simplicity is deliberate. You never have to guess what a Muse “should” cost, compare confusing sale prices, or wonder whether you overpaid. See the card type, and you know the price — from the 50-coin Commons up to the 200-coin Mythics at the top of the ladder. The rarity badge on a Muse’s page is not just a collectibility label; it is the price.

What an Unlock Includes

An unlock is a one-time purchase, and the Muse is yours forever — it lives in your Vault with no subscription, no rental period, and no expiry. What you are paying for is the character itself, in full.

Every unlock includes the complete prompt pack (the full personality, ready to paste into Muse with the “Use in Muse” button), the Muse’s conversation style, and the full-resolution artwork download. Locked Muses show a teaser, but owners get everything, permanently. For how the pasting works in practice, see how to use a custom Muse avatar in Muse.

Avatar Bundles: Whole Collections for Less

If your eye is on a whole set rather than a single Muse, the Packs page offers Avatar Bundles: a full named collection — any collection with three or more members — for a flat 250 Muse Coins. The one exception is the Christmas Bundle, at 300 coins. Unlocking individual Muses one by one would add up to far more than the bundle price for most sets, so bundles are the collector’s route.

Bundles also keep working after you buy them. If new Muses are published into a collection you own as a bundle, those new members are yours automatically — no second purchase, no catching up. Buy the Farm Animals collection once, and the farm is yours, including whoever moves in later.

Earning Muse Coins

You start earning before you spend anything. New accounts receive 150 bonus coins the moment they sign up, enough to unlock a first premium Muse or put a serious dent in a bundle on day one.

After the welcome bonus, the Wallet is also where daily rewards live: check in, claim what is there, and let a balance build toward the next Muse on your list. Collectors who know which Muse they want next tend to find the coins arrive faster than expected.

One Honest Note About Value

Muse Coins are platform credits for use inside AllTheMuse. They unlock Muses and bundles, and that is their whole job — they have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and are not an investment or a currency. We say that plainly because the system is meant to be simple: coins in, Muses out, yours forever.

Ready to look around? The collections show every set with rarities and prices on each Muse’s page, and the ideas tour is a good way to shortlist which personalities deserve your first unlock.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Muse cost?

It depends only on its card type — every Muse of a rarity costs the same: Common 50 Muse Coins, Rare 75, Epic 100, Legendary 150 and Mythic 200. Free Muses cost nothing to collect. Every price is a one-time unlock — the Muse is then yours forever.

What is an Avatar Bundle?

A bundle unlocks a full named collection (any set with 3 or more members) for a flat 250 Muse Coins — 300 for the Christmas Bundle. Bundle owners also automatically receive any Muses published into that collection later.

How do I get Muse Coins?

You receive 150 bonus coins the moment you sign up. Daily rewards in the Wallet let your balance keep growing from there.

Do Muse Coins have cash value?

No. Muse Coins are platform credits that work only inside AllTheMuse, for unlocking Muses and bundles. They cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
