Icons Avatar Guide: Fifteen Legends, Told in Symbols

An icons avatar does not need a portrait. The Icons collection on AllTheMuse holds fifteen of them under the tagline “Fifteen legends, told in symbols.” — each Muse wearing a tee printed with the symbol of a world-changing legend, plus a matching emblem cap: an equation circled by an atom, boxing gloves with a butterfly and a bee, a sketch-style flying machine, a swirling starry night. No portraits and no names of the legends themselves — just the ideas that changed everything. New to the idea? Start with what is a Muse avatar?, then meet the fifteen.
The Full Roster: Fifteen Legends in Symbols
The room holds exactly 15 Muses, and prices follow the standard rarity ladder, spread across five tiers: one Mythic at 200 coins, two Legendaries at 150, four Epics at 100, four Rares at 75, and four Commons at 50. Bought one by one the full room totals 1,400 Muse Coins; the bundle unlocks all fifteen at once for 350 — the bundle math is at the end of this guide.
Capped Muses are numbered editions — when a cap fills, that Muse is gone for good. Commons carry no cap, so they never sell out. At the time of writing, every capped Icons Muse is still at zero claimed, so the whole edition run is still open. Every Muse below is pictured in this guide, and every price was checked against the live collection before this post was written.

- Renaissance Remy — Legendary, 150 coins (cap 250)

- Propeller Pearl — Epic, 100 coins (cap 1,000)

- Starry Stella — Epic, 100 coins (cap 1,000)

The Flagships: Photon Phil, Renaissance Remy and Butterfly Bea
Photon Phil is the room's rarest piece: the one Mythic at 200 coins, capped at just 100 numbered editions. His page calls him the collection's “resident wonderer, forever one good question away from a breakthrough” — and his symbol is the equation circled by an atom. He is the natural first goal for a collector who wants the scarcest Icon first.
Renaissance Remy is a Legendary at 150 coins, capped at 250 editions — he “sketches wings in the margins of everything and means to test them all by Friday,” under the sketch-style flying machine. Beside him, Butterfly Bea is the second Legendary at the same 150 coins and cap 250: she “floats through life light on her feet and impossible to pin down,” all rhythm, under boxing gloves with a butterfly and a bee. A new account can start with either Legendary on day one: new accounts receive 150 Muse Coins at signup, which covers a Legendary exactly. Phil at 200 sits one step beyond the signup grant.

The Epics and Rares: Flight, Paint, Gardens and Glow
The four Epics at 100 coins each, capped at 1,000 editions, carry the room's big leaps. Moonshot Mel “took one small step and never really came back down” — quiet, steady and brave, under a moon with a rocket and a boot print. Propeller Pearl has “never once taken the ground's side in an argument” — give her a horizon and a little red propeller plane. Bloom Beatriz “wears her garden like a crown and her heart like a banner,” under a crown of flowers. And Starry Stella “paints the night sky the way it feels, not the way it looks” — swirls, stars and a swirling starry night.
The four Rares at 75 coins each, capped at 5,000 editions, are the room's performers and discoverers. Bowler Boris “says everything with a twirl of his cane and a wobble of his walk,” under a bowler hat with a cane. Quill Quentin has “a quill, a scroll and five acts' worth of opinions about both,” under a quill with theater masks. Radiant Ruth “works by glow-light and sheer determination, measuring twice and discovering things nobody” expected, under a glowing flask. And Voltage Viktor “dreams in lightning and files his best ideas under 'tomorrow',” under a crackling lightning coil. Any two Rares fit inside the 150-coin signup grant.

The Commons: Four Everyday Legends at 50 Coins
The four Commons at 50 coins each carry no edition cap, so this end of the room never sells out. Tophat Tobias is “tall of hat and taller of heart, the kind of honest that holds a whole country together,” under a stovepipe top hat ringed with stars. Sonata Sophie “heard entire symphonies before she could reach all the keys,” under curving piano keys. Lumen Lou “failed his way to a thousand working ideas and calls every dead end a draft,” under a glowing light bulb. And Gravity Grant “sat under one apple tree and came up with the operating manual for the universe,” under a falling apple.
At 50 coins each, any three Commons fit inside the 150-coin signup grant with nothing spent — a small hall of fame of your own on day one.

Bundle Math: 350 Coins for All 15
Bought one by one, the 15 Icons Muses total 1,400 Muse Coins: 200 + two at 150 + four at 100 + four at 75 + four at 50. The bundle unlocks every member at once for 350 coins — a saving of 1,050 against the single prices. If you already own part of the room, the finish price pro-rates down to what remains, so early single picks are never wasted; our set completion guide explains the finish price and the one-time +100 coin bonus that completing a named collection pays.
How does 350 coins look in real terms? Coin packs run 500 coins for $4.99, 1,200 for $9.99 and 3,000 for $19.99, and Muse Club adds 1,200 coins a month for $7.99 — the smallest pack covers the whole room with coins to spare. Or earn your way there: 150 at signup, +10 a day for checking in, streak and referral bonuses on top — the full list is in how to earn Muse Coins. And while you save, the Free Muses room holds 269 Muses at 0 coins, free to collect outright.
If the symbol is the story you collect by, this is your room: open the Icons collection, walk all fifteen legends in the gallery, or browse the muse avatars hub if you are still deciding which idea changed your world.
