Muse Avatar Set Completion: The +100 Coin Bonus, the Finish Price and the Cheapest Sets to Finish

Every Muse avatar you unlock belongs to a collection — and owning part of a collection is only half the game. Muse avatar set completion is what happens when you own every single Muse in one named collection: the moment the last missing Muse lands in your Vault, AllTheMuse pays you a +100 Muse Coin completion bonus, once per collection, and the finished set is recorded as a completion badge in your Vault. This guide does the honest math: what the finish-the-set price really charges you, which collections do not pay the bonus, and which sets are cheapest to complete first.
What Set Completion Actually Means
A set is complete when you own every member of one named collection — not most of them, all of them. The Pirates of the Plush Seas set, for example, is 10 Muses: First Mate Pearl the Mythic at 200 coins, Captain Barnacle the Legendary at 150, and eight Commons at 50 each. Own nine and you have a strong shelf; own the tenth and the collection is complete.
The check runs at the moment a set completes — when an unlock or a bundle purchase leaves you owning every member. The bonus is +100 Muse Coins, paid once per named collection per collector: finishing Pirates pays 100, finishing a second collection pays another 100, but finishing Pirates twice is impossible — the payment is recorded so it can only ever happen once for that room. Your completed collections are listed on your account and shown as completion badges in your Vault, so a finished set stays visible long after the coins are spent.

The Finish Price: You Never Pay Full Price Twice
Most collectors do not start a set from zero — they unlock a few favourites first and chase the rest later. The finish-the-set price exists for exactly that: when you buy the bundle of a collection you already partly own, you are charged only for the share you are missing. The price is the bundle price divided across the whole set, charged for the Muses still missing, rounded up — with a minimum of 25 Muse Coins.
Worked on Pirates, whose bundle is 250 coins for 10 Muses: own none and finishing costs the full 250. Own 5 and the finish price is 125 — half the bundle for the half you lack. Own 9 and the last Muse effectively costs 25 coins through the bundle, the minimum — and completing the set then pays the +100 bonus, so that final step puts you 75 coins ahead of where the purchase alone would leave you. Our avatar bundles guide covers how bundle ownership resolves; the signed-in collection page shows your own owned count and your personal finish price before you pay anything.
- Own 0 of 10 Pirates — finish price 250 coins (the full bundle)
- Own 5 of 10 Pirates — finish price 125 coins
- Own 9 of 10 Pirates — finish price 25 coins (the minimum), then +100 on completion
- Own 10 of 10 — the set is complete; there is nothing left to finish

Singles, Bundle or Finish? The Real Cost of a Completed Set
There are three roads to the same finished set, and they cost very different amounts. Buying Pirates one Muse at a time costs 750 coins (200 + 150 + eight at 50). The bundle costs 250 for all 10 at once. And the +100 completion bonus comes back on either road — so a bundle-completed Pirates set has a true net cost of 150 coins, and even the singles road nets 650. The bundle is not a small discount; on a flagship-led set it is a third of the single price, before the bonus.
The pattern holds across the rooms, with the numbers verified against the live collections today: Space Crew and Dream Jobs are the cheapest flagship-free sets — 10 Commons at 50 each, 500 singly or 250 by bundle, 150 net after the bonus. Garden Friends is 11 Commons, 550 singly or the same 250 bundle. Christmas is the premium example: 18 Muses costing 1,275 singly, a 300-coin bundle, and the same +100 waiting at the end. Our Muse avatar collection guide maps all 78 collections if you want the full field before choosing.

The Cheapest Sets to Complete First: A Strategy
If the bonus is the goal, chase small and flat sets before flagship-heavy ones. The smallest named set on the site is the Companion collection: just 6 Muses — Kelp Keeper and Loaf Paws, Rares at 75 each, plus Captain Drift, Captain Cuddles and Trail Mix at 50 and Bubble Scout at 50 — 350 coins bought singly, with no bundle, and +100 back on completion. It is the shortest road to a first completion badge.
Next come the all-Common rooms: Space Crew and Dream Jobs, where no Muse costs more than 50 and the 250 bundle finishes the whole room in one step. A new account starts with 150 free coins today, so one favourite Common at 50 plus the pro-rated finish is a realistic first-week chase — and when you are signed in, the gallery tracks your progress across collections and surfaces the sets you are nearest to completing, so you can always see which finish line is closest before spending a coin.

The Two Rooms That Do Not Pay the Bonus
Two named collections are honestly excluded, and a completion guide should say so plainly. The Free Muses room — 269 Muses, all free to collect at 0 coins — pays no completion bonus: its membership is simply every free Muse on the site, not a paid set to chase. The Rare Discovery room — 226 Muses today — is excluded for a different reason: its membership is recomputed live from how collected its Rare and Epic Muses are, so who belongs in the room shifts as collectors buy. A moving set has no stable finish line, so it carries no bonus either.
Every other named collection counts — themed rooms like Spooky Season and Christmas, subject rooms like Science, and even rooms with no bundle at all, like the 12-Muse Founder Collection (every Muse a flat 50 coins, 600 singly), where completion is a singles-only chase that still pays its +100 at the end.

Frequently asked questions
How many Muse Coins do you get for completing a set?
100 Muse Coins, paid once per named collection at the moment an unlock or bundle purchase leaves you owning every Muse in that collection. Complete a second collection and you earn another 100 — the bonus is per collection, not a one-time account reward.
What does it cost to finish a set I partly own?
Only the missing share of the bundle price: the bundle price divided across the set, charged for the Muses you still lack, rounded up with a 25-coin minimum. On the 250-coin, 10-Muse Pirates bundle that is 125 coins with 5 owned and just 25 coins with 9 owned — and the +100 completion bonus then pays on top.
Which collections do not pay the completion bonus?
Two: Free Muses (269 Muses at 0 coins — a free room, not a paid set) and Rare Discovery (226 Muses whose membership is recomputed live from collector counts, so its finish line moves). Every other named collection pays the +100, including rooms with no bundle such as the Founder Collection.
Does buying a bundle count toward set completion?
Yes. A bundle unlocks every member of its collection at once, so buying one for a set you do not yet complete finishes it in a single step and triggers the same +100 bonus — 250 coins for most bundles, 300 for rooms like Christmas and Storybook, less again if the pro-rated finish price applies.
