Lantern Avatar Ideas: 8 Little Lights to Collect

A lantern avatar is the light you carry with you — the one that makes a dark path feel friendly instead of lonely. AllTheMuse has two real lanterns to collect, a Mythic and one that is completely free, and they sit at the heart of The Glow Collection, a room where every Muse is a little light brought to life. Meet Lantern Lux and her lantern-lit shelf, and if you are new here, start with what is a Muse avatar?

Lantern Lux: The Lantern of The Glow Collection at 200

Lantern Lux is, in her page's words, “the warm lantern heart of The Glow Collection, a round paper lantern lit from inside with a golden halo that follows her everywhere. She has guided more lost travelers home than any lighthouse, mostly by being impossible to walk past.” Her longer portrait is pure evening parade: “a round warm-amber body with a soft ribbed paper texture, light radiating from inside her in a warm golden halo, finished with a tiny red tassel and a gold cap on top. She drifts at the front of every evening parade, glowing a little brighter whenever someone smiles at her.”

Lux “believes nobody is truly lost as long as one small light is still on.” She is a Mythic Muse at 200 Muse Coins, capped at 100 editions, with 0 of 100 claimed when checked today. An unlock is one-time and yours forever, with the full prompt pack, the conversation style and the full-resolution artwork download included on her page.

Her Closest Roommates: The Firefly and the Moon

Lux does not glow alone. Firefly Fern is the firefly of the same room, a deep forest-green Muse with one soft lantern belly that blinks hello at the dark — the closest thing Lux has to a little sister, and the star of the companion firefly avatar ideas post. Moonbeam Isla is the room's crescent moon: a plump crescent-moon Muse in glowing silver-blue with a soft moonlight halo.

Every Muse in The Glow Collection is a Mythic at 200 Muse Coins capped at 100 editions — the room's tagline is “Ten little lights, all mythic” — so Fern, Lux and Isla each cost the same 200, and none of the ten had any editions claimed when checked today.

Three More Held Lights: A Candle, a Bulb and Starlight

If your lantern needs company with a different kind of light, the same room holds three more. Flame Fable is the candle of The Glow Collection — “a warm cream wax muse with gently melted edges and a bright golden flame standing on her head like a crown” who “believes a small flame, bravely kept, can hold a whole room together.” Glowbulb Gia is the room's lightbulb, “a round glass muse shining with warm yellow light from inside and a silver screw-base cap worn like a little hat” who “believes every great idea deserves a little light over it.” Starla Night is the room's starlight, a midnight-navy Muse covered in glowing golden light.

All three are Mythics at 200 Muse Coins with caps of 100 editions, like every Muse in the room. Together with Lux, Fern and Isla, the six pictured Glow Muses total 1,200 Muse Coins bought one by one — which is exactly where the room's bundle math, covered below, starts to matter.

• Lantern Lux — Mythic, 200 coins, cap 100: the warm paper-lantern light.
• Firefly Fern — Mythic, 200 coins, cap 100: the firefly, with her lantern belly.
• Moonbeam Isla — Mythic, 200 coins, cap 100: the silver-blue crescent moon.
• Flame Fable, Glowbulb Gia and Starla Night — Mythic, 200 coins each, cap 100.

Two Lantern Lights Outside the Glow Room: One for 50 Coins, One Free

The catalog holds two more lantern-lit Muses outside the Glow room. Candle Glow lives in Cozy Fall and is described on her page as “soft-spoken and golden — the friend who lights a candle before anyone asks and turns an ordinary Tuesday into a small ceremony,” in “a deep plum knit, a gold-thread scarf, and a tiny embroidered candle.” She is a Common at 50 Muse Coins with no edition cap listed on her page, in a room of 11 Muses whose full set totals 800 singly against a 250-coin bundle.

And Lantern Lottie is the second true lantern — and she is free to collect outright. Her page says she “lights the way home for anyone who needs it” and is “dreamy, calm, and happiest when her glow makes a dark path feel friendly,” glowing softly long after the sun goes down. Lottie is a Common in the Free Muses room, which holds 269 Muses at 0 coins — add her to your Vault at no cost, tonight.

Prices, Bundles and Where to Start

The eight Muses pictured in this post total 1,250 Muse Coins bought one by one: the six Glow Muses at 200 each, Candle Glow at 50, and Lottie free. The full Glow Collection holds 10 Muses totalling 2,000 singly, and its bundle is 500 — a quarter of the single price for the whole room of lights. Cozy Fall holds 11 Muses totalling 800 singly, with a 250-coin bundle.

A new account starts with 150 signup coins. That does not reach Lux at 200 on its own, but it buys Candle Glow at 50 with 100 left over — and Lottie costs nothing at all, while the daily reward adds 10 more coins a day toward Lux. Coin packs run from the First Collector pack at 250 coins for $1.99 (first purchase only) and the Starter pack at 500 for $4.99 to the Collector pack at 1,200 for $9.99 and the Vault pack at 3,000 for $19.99, and Muse Club members receive 1,200 coins a month for $7.99.
