Muse Collector Levels: How XP, Titles and Your Collector Card Work

Every AllTheMuse account carries a collector level. It sits in your Vault as a badge — a level number, a title like Explorer or Curator, and a progress line showing how much XP you need for the next level. Levels are earned, never bought: five everyday actions pay XP, the ladder runs from level 1 all the way to Oracle at level 75, and your level headlines the shareable Collector Card your Vault builds from your real collection. New to the site? Start with what is a Muse avatar, then come back and watch your first badge move.

How You Earn XP: Five Actions, Fixed Rates

XP comes from exactly five actions, each at a fixed rate. Collecting is the engine: every Muse you unlock pays +50 XP, whether she is a free Muse like Linden Winifred from the Free Muses room — all 269 of them collect at 0 coins — or a Common like Maple Leaf at 50 coins. Price does not change the XP: a Divine collect pays the same +50 as a free one.

The other four actions keep your level moving between collects. Claiming the daily reward pays +10 XP on top of its +10 Muse Coins (the full coin side is covered in how to earn Muse Coins). Voting in a matchup pays +5 XP a vote and never requires owning either Muse. Unlocking an achievement pays +25 XP, and favoriting a Muse pays a small +2 XP. There is no XP for sale and no way to buy a level — the badge only ever reflects what you actually did.

The Level Ladder: Each Step Costs 100 More XP

The ladder has a simple shape: reaching a new level takes 100 more XP than the step before it. Level 2 lands at 100 XP, level 3 at 300, level 4 at 600 and level 5 at 1,000 — each gap grows by 100. That makes the early game quick: two collects, or one collect plus a handful of votes and a daily claim, put you at level 2, and twenty collects' worth of XP reaches level 5 even before votes and achievements are counted.

Higher up, the gaps widen on purpose. Level 10 needs 4,500 XP in total, level 20 needs 19,000, and the top milestone, level 75, needs 277,500. A matchup pair like Happy against In Love from Moods is the steady drip that fills those gaps: +5 XP a vote, every day, on top of the +50s from collecting. Your Vault badge does the arithmetic for you — it shows your total XP and exactly how much is left to the next level.

The Seven Titles: Explorer to Oracle

Seven of the levels carry titles. Everyone starts as an Explorer at level 1. Collector arrives at level 5 (1,000 XP), Curator at level 10, Hunter at level 20, Master at level 35, Legend at level 50, and Oracle — the last title — at level 75. Between milestones your badge keeps the title you have earned and appends the level, so a level 7 badge reads Collector · Lv 7 until Curator lands at 10.

Titles are a record, not a perk tier: they change nothing about prices or access, and that is the point. A Legend badge next to a collection anchored by flagships like First Mate Pearl and Captain Barnacle of Pirates of the Plush Seas says the collector behind it has been collecting, voting and claiming for a long time — the XP total proves it, because there is no shortcut that produces one.

Achievements: Six Badges That Each Pay +25 XP

Six achievements sit alongside the ladder, and each one pays +25 XP when it unlocks. First Muse fires on your very first collect — so a first unlock is worth +75 XP in total, +50 for the collect and +25 for the badge. Legendary Taste fires the first time you collect a Legendary, Mythic or Divine Muse: a flagship like Ghostly Boo of Spooky Season or Photon Phil of Icons earns it the moment she joins your Vault.

The rest reward habits rather than single moments. 7-Day Streak asks for a week of daily claims, Top Voter for 25 matchup votes, and Top Collector and Vault Fifty for 10 and 50 Muses collected. Together the six are worth 150 XP — a level and a half of early progress — and they unlock on their own as you play; there is nothing separate to claim.

Your Collector Card: Your Level, On a Card

Your level headlines the Collector Card, a shareable card your Vault draws from your real account state: your display name, your level and title, your current streak, and your rarest owned Muse in the spotlight — with her edition number when she carries one. A Divine like Thunderhead Thane of The Divine Twenty outranks every other tier for that spotlight, which makes the card a quiet flex for anyone who has collected one of the twenty. Download the card as a PNG or share it to X and Pinterest; if you own nothing yet, the card shows an honest no-Muses-yet state instead of inventing a star.

One neighbour worth not confusing with levels: your account also carries a Collection Score, a separate number built from 10 points per Muse collected, rarity weights (Common 1 up to Divine 50), 25 points per achievement and 5 per streak day. The score measures the collection itself; your level measures your activity. Both grow as you collect — the set completion guide shows the collecting strategy that feeds them fastest — but only the level and its title ride on your Collector Card.

Frequently asked questions

How do I level up fast on AllTheMuse?

Collecting pays the most XP by far: +50 per Muse, against +5 for a matchup vote and +10 for the daily claim. Two collects reach level 2 (100 XP), and your first collect is worth +75 XP in total because it also unlocks the First Muse achievement (+25). The Free Muses room counts fully — all 269 of its Muses collect at 0 coins and still pay +50 XP each.

What is the highest collector title?

Oracle, at level 75, which takes 277,500 XP in total. The seven titles run Explorer (level 1), Collector (5), Curator (10), Hunter (20), Master (35), Legend (50) and Oracle (75). Between milestones your badge keeps your current title and adds your level, such as Collector · Lv 7.

Can I buy XP or levels with Muse Coins?

No. XP is only ever earned from the five actions — collecting (+50), the daily claim (+10), matchup votes (+5), achievements (+25) and favorites (+2). Coins buy Muses, and those collects earn XP, but there is no way to purchase XP or a level directly.

Where do I see my level and Collector Card?

In your Vault. The level badge at the top shows your level, title, total XP and how much XP remains to the next level. The Collector Card is built in the same place, from your name, level, streak and rarest owned Muse, and can be downloaded as a PNG or shared to X and Pinterest.
