Cheap Muse Avatars: Great Collects Under 100 Muse Coins

Cheap on AllTheMuse has an exact meaning: under 100 Muse Coins. That covers every Common Muse at 50 coins, every Rare at 75, and one remarkable room where even a Mythic costs 50. It does not mean the leftovers — the under-100 shelf holds pirates, astronauts, garden bees and a storybook wizard, all finished characters with their own personalities. A new account starts with 150 free Muse Coins, so this shelf is where a collection actually begins. New here? Start with what is a Muse avatar, then spend small and spend well below.
What 'Cheap' Actually Means Here
AllTheMuse prices Muses by rarity on one ladder, laid out in Muse Coin prices explained: Common 50 coins with no edition cap, Rare 75 capped at 5,000 editions, then Epic 100, Legendary 150, Mythic 200 and Divine 350 above the cheap line. So the under-100 shelf is exactly two tiers — Commons and Rares — plus the flat-priced Founder exception covered below.
One boundary matters before you spend anything: cheap is not free. The Free Muses room holds 269 Muses at 0 coins, free to collect with no balance at all — Linden Winifred pictured here is one of them, and our free Muse avatars guide walks that room. The Muses in this guide are the next step up: the first ones worth saving coins for, priced so the 150 coins a new account receives at signup buy three Commons outright.

The 50-Coin Commons: Whole Rooms at One Price
Some rooms are built entirely on the cheap shelf. Space Crew is ten Commons at 50 coins each — Galaxy, Earth, Comet, UFO, Moon, Star, Robot, Saturn, Rocket and Alien — 500 coins one by one, or the whole crew in the 250-coin bundle. Garden Friends goes one better: eleven Commons, from Dragonfly and Firefly to Bee and Butterfly, 550 singly against the same 250 bundle.
Mixed rooms keep their Commons just as reachable. Eight of the ten Pirates of the Plush Seas crew are 50-coin Commons — Ruby the Red, Shipmate Finn, Coral Cora, Anchor Andy, Treasure Tessa, Parrot Pablo, Peg-Leg Pete and Salty Sam — under First Mate Pearl the Mythic and Captain Barnacle the Legendary. And in Storybook, Curious Alice, Rose Briar, Scarecrow Solly and Booted Cat Pico carry the room's stories for 50 each. Commons carry no edition cap, so a cheap favourite is never a race — it is there when your coins are.

Cosy and Christmas Commons
The hero of this guide is a Common too. Maple Leaf anchors a Cozy Fall shelf of nine 50-coin Commons — Harvest Moon, Scarf Weather, Leaf Pile, Candle Glow, Hayride, Knit Sweater, Campfire and Mochi Melt alongside her — in an 11-Muse room that totals 800 coins singly, under Hot Cocoa the Mythic and Pumpkin Spice the Legendary, or 250 for the bundle.
Christmas keeps a door open at the same price: Twinkle Tinsel is the room's Common at 50 coins, the one single under 100 in a preview cast that climbs through a 75-coin Rare to Santa himself at 150. The full Christmas room runs 18 Muses at 300 bundled — but if only one holiday Muse fits the budget this week, Twinkle is the honest 50-coin way in.

The 75-Coin Rares: One Step Up, Still Cheap
For 25 coins more than a Common, a Rare buys you a numbered edition: every Rare is capped at 5,000, and the count is public on its page. The Christmas Rare is Noelle Frostglide at 75. In Bloom, the Rares are Cactus Cleo — already 1 of her 5,000 editions claimed — Lavender Vale and Blossom Saya, each 75 in a ten-Muse room with a 250 bundle.
Our Rare Muse avatars tour walks the tier room by room; the cheap maths of it is simple enough to state here. A new account's 150 signup coins buy exactly two Rares — say Cactus Cleo and Wizard Wendel, Storybook's 75-coin wizard — with nothing left over and nothing wasted. No other tier divides the starter balance that cleanly.

The Founder Bargain: Higher Rarities at 50 Coins
The single best bargain on the site is a whole room. The Founder Collection — the original twelve Muses — prices every one of them at a flat 50 coins, whatever the rarity. That makes Sir Fluffalot a Mythic, capped at just 100 editions with 1 already claimed, for the price of a Common; and Star Sailor a Legendary, capped at 250 with 1 claimed, for the same 50.
The rest of the twelve follow the same rule: Merlin Muffin and Mix Master Fluff are Epics at 50 instead of 100, Bean There, Crumb Commander and Bubble Scout are Rares at 50 instead of 75, and Captain Cuddles, Powder Puff, Trail Mix, Sidewalk Bean and Daisy Digger are Commons at the usual 50. There is no Founder bundle — the full set is 600 coins one by one, which is still less than those twelve would cost at ladder prices. If you collect one cheap thing first, make it a Founder flagship: no other 50 coins on the site buy a capped Mythic.

How to Spend a Small Balance Well
The strategy is to decide whether you are collecting faces or rooms. Faces: pick the exact Commons and Rares you love in the gallery and pay 50 or 75 each — a small balance goes furthest spent on names, not tiers. Rooms: the moment you want most of one shelf, stop buying singles and take the bundle, which prices a ten-Muse room at 250 against 500 to 925 bought one by one.
Either way, cheap Muses are full Muses. A 50-coin Common carries the same personality, prompt pack and download as a 350-coin Divine once you own it — the ladder prices scarcity, not quality of company. Start where your coins reach, and let the collection grow at the pace the daily claim sets.
- Day one with 150 signup coins: three Commons (50 × 3), two Rares (75 × 2), or one of each for 125 with 25 left over
- Cheapest capped Muse anywhere: Sir Fluffalot — a Mythic capped at 100 editions, 50 coins in the Founder Collection
- Whole-room shortcut: Space Crew is 500 singly or 250 bundled; Garden Friends 550 singly or 250 bundled
- Saving up costs nothing: the daily claim adds 10 coins a day, so a Common is five days of claims from zero
- Topping up: the Starter pack is 500 coins for $4.99 — ten Commons' worth; Muse Club lands 1,200 coins a month for $7.99
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest Muse avatar you can buy?
50 Muse Coins. Every Common costs 50, and the Founder Collection prices all 12 originals at a flat 50 — including a Mythic and a Legendary. Below that, the Free Muses room holds 269 Muses at 0 coins, free to collect with no balance at all.
How many cheap Muse avatars can a new account get?
A new account receives 150 free Muse Coins at signup. That buys three Commons at 50 each, two Rares at 75 each, or one of each for 125 — before any daily claims, coin packs or Muse Club coins.
Are cheap Muse avatars limited editions?
Commons carry no edition cap, so they cannot sell out. Rares are capped at 5,000 numbered editions. The Founder exceptions keep their own rarity caps at the flat 50 price — Sir Fluffalot is a Mythic capped at 100 editions, 1 already claimed.
Is a bundle ever cheaper than buying cheap Muses one by one?
Yes, when you want most of a room. Space Crew's ten Commons total 500 coins singly but the bundle is 250; Garden Friends totals 550 singly against the same 250 bundle. If you only want one or two names from a room, singles at 50 each are cheaper — the bundle only wins as a whole-room purchase.
