Epic Muse Avatars: The 100-Coin Tier With a 1,000-Edition Cap

Epic is the middle shelf of AllTheMuse — the rarity where a Muse stops being an everyday collect and starts being a numbered edition. Every Epic Muse avatar costs 100 Muse Coins and is capped at 1,000 editions: when those 1,000 are claimed, that Muse can never be unlocked again. There is no single Epic room; the tier runs through the whole catalog, from Christmas elves to storybook dragons. This guide walks the tier room by room, with every price verified live today. New to collecting? Start with what is a Muse avatar, then come back — and if you want the shelf above this one, meet the Mythic Muse avatars when you are done.
What 'Epic' Actually Means
AllTheMuse prices every Muse by rarity, on one ladder: Common 50 coins with no edition cap, Rare 75 capped at 5,000, Epic 100 capped at 1,000, Legendary 150 capped at 250, Mythic 200 capped at just 100, and Divine 350 capped at 25. The full ladder is laid out in Muse Coin prices explained. Epic is where the cap starts to matter in practice — 1,000 editions is generous enough that most Epics are there when you find them, and small enough that a loved one does not stay that way forever.
The starting math is kind: a new account begins with 150 free Muse Coins, so your very first unlock can be an Epic plus a 50-coin Common on day one. There is exactly one exception to the 100-coin rule, and it is an honest one: the Founder Collection prices all 12 of its originals at a flat 50 coins, so its two Epics — Merlin Muffin and Mix Master Fluff — are Epics by rarity and cap (1,000 editions) at half the usual price. The Founder room has no bundle; the set is 600 coins one by one.

The Christmas Epics: Eight in One Room
No room leans on the Epic tier like Christmas. Eight of its preview cast are Epics at 100 coins each: Jolly Elf, Santa's right hand; Frosty Friend, the snowman; Ugly Sweater, Starlight, Candy Cane, Gingerbread, Nutcracker and Tinsel. Above them sit Reindeer Games the Mythic (200) and Santa himself, a Legendary at 150 — which is why the room's 18 Muses total 1,575 coins one by one.
That total is also the Epic tier's best bundle lesson: the Christmas bundle unlocks all 18 for 300 coins. If an Epic is the Muse you actually want, 100 coins buys her alone and that is a fair price — but the moment two or three Christmas names catch your eye, the bundle is doing the arithmetic for you.

Storybook and Starship Epics
Storybook keeps its two Epics side by side: Dragon Ember, pictured at the top of this guide, and Unicorn Una — a dragon and a unicorn, each 100 coins and capped at 1,000 editions. The room runs 12 Muses in all, from Godmother Gilda the Mythic down to four 50-coin Commons: 1,050 coins one by one, or the whole shelf in the 300-coin bundle.
The same shape repeats among the stars. Galaxy Knights fields Sentinel Rho and Princess Lyra as its Epics — a sentinel and a princess, 100 coins each — inside another 12-Muse room that totals 1,050 singly against a 300 bundle. If you collect by story rather than by room, the Epic tier is where the supporting cast lives: named, capped, and priced under the flagships.

The Animal Epics: Husky Hugo and Bengal Blaze
The standard ten-Muse room carries exactly two Epics, and the animal rooms wear them well. In Top Dogs, the Epics are Wiener Walt and Husky Hugo; in Cool Cats, they are Persian Priya and Bengal Blaze. Each room is the classic 925-coin shelf — a Mythic at 200, a Legendary at 150, the two Epics at 100, three Rares at 75 and three Commons at 50 — or 250 coins as a bundle.
That two-Epic pattern is the tier's quiet signature: in room after room, the Epics are the pair a collector remembers second — the husky under the Dane, the Bengal under the Tuxedo — priced to be reachable and capped to be worth reaching for.

Weather and Harvest Epics
Weather Wonders gives the tier its most poetic pair: Rainy Rae and Snowy Belle, snowfall itself as a Muse, each an Epic at 100 coins in a ten-Muse room that runs 925 singly or 250 bundled. Snowy Belle is the winter-first pick of this whole guide — and one of the few Epics a new account's 150 starter coins can cover with room to spare.
Out in the Produce Patch, the Epics are already being claimed: Avocado Addie and Broccoli Bram each show 1 of their 1,000 editions gone, alongside Melon Mabel and Pineapple Pia at 0. The Patch is a bigger room — 20 Muses with a 400-coin bundle — and those single claimed editions are the cap doing its job in miniature: every Epic's counter only moves one way.

How to Collect Epics Without Overspending
The honest rule of the tier: buy the single when one Muse is the point, and buy the bundle the moment a room has two or three names on your list — the bundle math above shows why. Every price in that list is live on the coin packs page and the collection pages today. And if the caps above Epic tempt you, the neighbouring shelves have their own tours: Legendary Muse avatars at 150 and the rarest Muse avatars beyond them.
- One Epic, exactly the one you want: 100 coins — inside a new account's 150 starter coins
- A standard room's pair of Epics: 200 singly, or the whole 10-Muse room for the 250 bundle
- Christmas: any Epic is 100 alone; all 18 Muses are 300 bundled against 1,575 singly
- Coin packs: Starter 500 coins for $4.99 is five Epics; Muse Club lands 1,200 coins a month for $7.99
Frequently asked questions
How much does an Epic Muse avatar cost?
100 Muse Coins, everywhere on the site, with one stated exception: the Founder Collection prices all 12 originals at a flat 50 coins, so its Epics — Merlin Muffin and Mix Master Fluff — cost 50 while keeping the Epic 1,000-edition cap.
How many editions does an Epic Muse have?
1,000. Each unlock claims one numbered edition, and the count is public on the Muse's page — Avocado Addie and Broccoli Bram each show 1 claimed today. When all 1,000 are gone, that Muse cannot be unlocked again.
Is there an Epic collection on AllTheMuse?
No — Epic is a rarity tier, not a room. Epics live inside the themed collections across all 79 rooms, usually two to a standard room and eight in Christmas. The neighbouring tiers work the same way, which is why the Mythic and Legendary tours are written room by room too.
What is the difference between Epic, Legendary and Mythic Muses?
Price and scarcity, on one ladder: Epic is 100 coins capped at 1,000 editions, Legendary is 150 capped at 250, and Mythic is 200 capped at just 100. Below Epic sit Rare (75, cap 5,000) and Common (50, no cap); above Mythic, Divine is 350 capped at 25. The full ladder is in Muse Coin prices explained.
